Vintage Cola Cooler
This Vintage Cola Cooler is in great condition for it's age. It has a detached lid and the interior of the cooler is lined in galvanized steel.
Vintage
Cola Cooler has a Bottle Opener and Drain Plug on the one side.
The
removable lid has the Original rubber seal and is in excellent
condition.
It
has a metal handle that, when lifted into the upright position,
secures and locks the lid down for carrying.
It
is fiberglass insulated and has a galvanized steel lining.
This
comes from about the 1950's era.
Be aware; this is not a Coca Cola product, it is however most likely an early imitation of one, that is so highly collectable.
Even
though this has had red paint sprayed on it, the lettering is still
able to be read in the right light and right angle,
also using
photos
of the rubbings we did. It says "Cola Cooler" on the top
row, "Fiberglass Insulated" (maybe more) in
the middle row
the "Poloron Products, Inc. New Rochelle, N.Y." in the
bottom row.
If you're
good at restoring . . . this is for you!
Aside
from the paint on it, the physical condition is excellent, no rust
holes, very little if any rust, drain and stopper
intact and in
great
condition. The Chrome bottle opener (located on the same side as the
drain) is in excellent condition too.
All in all,
this is a high
quality, excellent condition, collectable "Cola Cooler".
The
only way we could prove that this is a "Cola Cooler" is by
the chalk rubbings we did, because this has apparently been
spray
painted at some time.

Mackintosh's
Golden Toffee Wafers Tin
This vintage Mackintosh's Golden Toffee Wafers can / tin was made in England by John Mackintosh & Sons Ltd.,
of Halifax & Norwich. It is a 12 ounce can and measures about 5-1/2 inches in diameter by about 3 inches deep.
This
beautifully flowered can was probably
issued around the 1950s to 1960s.
It's in
good vintage condition, as seen in the photos.
This would be a wonderful addition to your collection.
